Trigger points or knots can develop due to poor body mechanics (such as hunching over a desk), overexertion (like standing for extended periods of time or using a blow dryer all day), or from injury. These knots occur when muscle fibers fuse together, reducing range of motion and disrupting blood flow. Healthy blood flow is essential for muscles, tissue, and other areas of the body to heal and repair. If left untreated, trigger points and knots can worsen, leading to tears and intense pain. Acupuncture can be used to alleviate these knots by breaking up adhesions through the muscle fibers, resulting in a twitch response. After an acupuncture session, there may be increased range of motion as proper blood flow is restored. Similar to a deep tissue massage or a strenuous workout, some soreness may be experienced.
NAET is an energy balancing procedure that helps remove energy blockages. It allows your bodies energy to accept allergens and non harmful. An "allergen" in NAET is anything the body does not accept or recognizes as harmful. This can range from dust, environmental factors like cold and damp to someones energy or voice!
This procedure incorporates a series of treatments that begin by making sure the body is accepting and fulling utilizing essential nutrients. They must be done in order. The reason for this is that they are needed for normal physical, psychological and emotional function. We need to have the bodies energy accept and use all nutrients properly (most people do not!) Once this is done it is easier and more effective to treat specific allergens. Most will notice after the basic 15 nutrients are treated, many symptoms go away as the body's immune system and over all function will be stronger!
Cupping is an ancient healing technique that involves suctioning areas of the body that are experiencing pain. This practice aids in reducing muscular spasms, restoring normal blood flow to the affected area, and improving circulation. The suctioning process helps to bring impure, "toxic" blood to the surface of the skin, where it is then eliminated by the lymphatic system. If a person has a lot of dark cupping marks after a session, this indicates that there was a large amount of stagnant blood which needed to be released. With regular use of cupping, the marks will become lighter in color, signifying improved circulation and a reduction in pain. Cupping marks typically last from 3 to 7 days.
Cosmetic acupuncture and facial cupping can help restore youthfulness and prevent aging by decreasing fine lines and wrinkles, increasing collagen production, and improving skin tone, blemishes and discolorations.
